Activities for Valentine's Day

Valentine’s Day Resources for ALL Ages

Love is in the air. Here in Italy, it feels like Spring. I created these Valentine’s Day themed resources to fit all different age groups. Let’s start with teens and adults. This set of 48 Valentine’s Day Question Card prompts are perfect to use as a warm-up activity with students to talk about how they celebrate Valentine’s Day and what they love. It’s a fantastic activity to use with both adults and older teenagers in Pre-Intermediate ESL and EFL classrooms! All questions are in the Present Simple and Present Perfect verb tenses.

  • Large or small group activity

Alphabet Bingo – Uppercase Only

This Bingo set is best for little learners (Preschool+) and included a helpful flashcard set.

Numbers 1-20 Bingo

Age: Preschool +
Ability/Skill level: Recognize numbers from 1 to 20

Numbers are often one of the first things that we teach our newcomers. Since most students almost immediately feel comfortable with 1-20 number recogntion, this is a great game to play right away. It encourages listening, speaking, reading and recognition skills in the target language. I say target language because the nice thing about this set is that it can be used in ANY language.

Valentine’s Vocabulary Bingo

Ability/Skill level: Recognize Valentine’s Day themed vocabulary
