What a great way to practice identifying singular and plural noun endings. These colorful cards make  it fun!  I use them in the EFL classroom. After learning the rules with my young learners  this is a quick, little prep (print, laminate & cut) activity. It can be used over and over again after is has been laminated. In this activity, your students will match PLURAL and SINGULAR noun images to matching vocabulary words. Nouns with plural suffix endings –s, -es and -ies are included. This is an easy to prepare activity for literacy centers. By turning the cards upside down, it can be used as a memory game to increase the difficulty level once your students are familiar with the nouns.

This makes it a great practice activity for young ELL, ESL and EFL students.

 This download includes:

  • 54 Singular and Plural -s, -es, -ies endings noun cards
  • 9 singular and 9 plural for each of the three different suffix endings
  • Color & Less ink printing options
  • Student Recording Sheet

Happy teaching!
Brooke
